See our questions nook to better prepare for your visit. We welcome worshippers from across the region, including Cortland, Warren, Niles, Lordstown, Newton Falls, Champion Township, and Howland Township.

About Our Service

Complimentary Coffee

You can meaningfully connect with us before or after the service during a time of fellowship where we offer complimentary coffee and tea in the gathering space (main lobby/entry way) of the church.  Warm your heart, mind, a soul with a cup of something warm to drink and a couple of “Hello’s…it’s nice to meet you….and smiles” We will respect your anonymity as we know entering a new space can be intimidating but know our members will be happy to see you and answer any questions you may have.

Worship Music

We have a wonderful accompanist who plays our traditional hymns. Contemporary music is utilized before and after the core of our worship service. Our faithful Chancel Choir performs for us every other Sunday. We try to mix the traditional and the contemporary to appeal to all ages.

Our Sermons

Sermons address what it means to be a Disciple of Christ, emphasizing unity, identity, and the principles of movement, wholeness, table, and welcome. Preachers relate scripture to current issues and cover major themes like sin, grace, the Kingdom of God, baptism, and reconciliation.

Communion

Communion in our church is open to anyone who wants to receive it, regardless of your background. While we recognize there are many different practices in many Christian traditions, our practice is that the Lord’s Table is open to all people. This includes children as parents are open to that practice. Part of our identity within the Disciples of Christ tradition is inherent in part of our faith statement “We welcome all to the Lord’s Table as God has welcomed us”
