Did you know we have a men’s breakfast the second Saturday of every month? We normally eat around 8a.m. in the fellowship hall of the church. Depending on who is cooking, breakfast might be anything from eggs and sausage to french toast or pancakes, maybe even homemade breakfast casseroles. The food alone is usually worth the time.

Better yet, we have found that having free space to talk about things going on in our lives and in the world with other men trying to live faithfully is refreshing. It’s space to be honest about what’s going on and how we might be struggling in life. And when other men are able to join that walk with us, we can find encouragement and strength we so often need.

There is certainly plenty of laughter and joking around as well. The time is meant to be upliftingand encouraging. We always share a devotional thought and time in prayer to help encourageus in our daily lives. As we grow together, we are having discussions about extendingmeaningful men’s ministry into our community and it’s a great time to be part of thoseconversations. We do our best to be done at 9a.m. so people can get to the people and thingsthat need their time.

We would love to have you come and join us. We aren’t trying to be a perfect group of perfect people, we’re just trying to find ways to walk faithfully in the world together. May God grant us such wisdom that we may live more deeply in Christ every day.
